What the studio composes.
A birthday arrangement reads to one person. We compose to the year, the room they will sit in, and the kind of person they are. The work is restrained or warm depending on what the year calls for — a fortieth is different from a fourth, and the studio reads the difference.
We work with garden roses, ranunculus, anemones, dahlia, lisianthus, and the seasonal warmth Northern California grows: butter, apricot, soft coral, dusty rose in summer; deeper plums, oxblood, smoke, and bordeaux in autumn. The vessel is part of the work; we never default to a standard glass.
Birthday arrangements are hand-delivered with a handwritten card. For milestone years, we compose larger — and we are happy to write a longer note on request, or no note at all.

The studio composes the work by hand the day of delivery. We work with what is exceptional in the week — never from a default. The vessel is part of the composition.

Hand-delivered by the studio with a handwritten card. Unmarked van, plain dress, discreet. We will not announce the sender unless you ask.

Can the arrangement be composed around a specific palette?
Yes — and we prefer it. Tell us the person's favorite color, the room the piece will sit in, the season they were born in. We compose to the brief; defaults are not part of the work.
How far in advance should I order?
Three business days is comfortable. Same-day delivery is available within the Sacramento region for orders placed before 10am Pacific. For milestone compositions or rare cultivars, write us a week ahead and we will source what the year requires.
Do you do dinner-table centerpieces?
Yes. A centerpiece is composed against the table — its length, the candles, the silverware, the wine. We compose long-table runs, single statement vessels, and clustered low arrangements for an intimate dinner. Pricing begins at $385 per table for a composed centerpiece.
Can it be hand-delivered to an office?
Yes — and we will deliver quietly. Unmarked vans, recipient by name at the front desk. The studio does not announce itself unless you ask us to.
Do you compose for children's birthdays?
For children, we recommend a smaller atelier piece — something they can keep on a dresser. We do not work in balloons, foil, or character themes; the work is restrained either way. Write us with the child's age and we will recommend a piece.
